Price Busters Variety Pty Ltd – Stafford QLD

Price Busters Variety Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Store Manager for Dollars and Sense to lead and manage all aspects of our store operations in Stafford, QLD. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to drive store performance, lead a dedicated team, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for the strategic and operational management of the store, ensuring sales targets are met, inventory is optimised, and our customers receive outstanding experiences every time they visit.

Key responsibilities

- Oversee all daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently
- Lead, motivate and manage a team of staff members, providing training, development and performance management
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators whilst maintaining cost controls and profitability
- Manage inventory levels, stock rotation, and merchandise displays to maximise sales and minimise shrinkage
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, health and safety regulations, and relevant legislation
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Monitor financial performance, manage budgets and contribute to cost reduction initiatives
- Conduct staff recruitment, onboarding and scheduling to maintain adequate staffing levels
- Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards and store cleanliness
- Liaise with head office on sales performance, staffing issues and operational matters

What we’re looking for

- Proven experience as a Store Manager or similar retail management position in a variety store or discount retail workplace




- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales performance and achieve financial targets
- Excellent knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management, stock control and visual merchandising
- Sound understanding of health and safety requirements and compliance obligations in retail environments
- Strong customer service focus with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with retail management systems and point-of-sales technology
- Problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills under pressure
- Organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays as required
