The Allied Health team at JewishCare (Vic) is growing! We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate occupational therapist to join our expanding multi-disciplinary team.

Occupational Therapist
- Full-time position

At Jewish Care Victoria, you’ll join our Active Living Services team supporting clients through an evidence-based, holistic approach that prioritises continuity of care, connection and long-term outcomes. This role offers variety, autonomy and the chance to truly connect with your clients - helping them stay active and independent in the community they love.
As part of our collaborative multidisciplinary team, you’ll deliver occupational therapy services across our community offsite and onsite as required - including assessments, interventions such as home modification reports and equipment prescription, and group programs - all with a strong focus on healthy ageing and empowering clients to live well.
We have an onsite clinic at Caulfield and Windsor.
What you will do
- Assessment of clients and development of individual occupational therapy intervention plans in line with a “Healthy Ageing” perspective
- Regular review occupational therapy plans, discharge planning and MDT referrals as appropriate
- Promote independence and functional abilities for JewishCare (Vic) clients, with a strong emphasis on health promotion
- Communicate client outcomes through attendance at relevant clinical/team meetings and documentation in the client data base.
- Supervision of Allied Health Assistants/Exercise Leaders/students
- Promotion and understanding of cultural diversity in care services
You will have:
- Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Highly developed communication skills
- Demonstrated experience and well-developed clinical skills in occupational therapy within the community setting
- Demonstrated understanding of funding streams including CHSP, Support at Home and ATHM,
- Demonstrated NDIS knowledge (preferred)
