About the role An exciting opportunity is available for an organised, proactive and people-focused Office Support Assistant to support the smooth day-to-day operation of a corporate workplace.
As a key point of contact for employees, visitors, contractors and service providers, you will play an important role in creating a professional, welcoming and well-organised workplace experience.
Working closely with teams across the business, you will provide a broad range of administrative, reception and workplace support. This includes coordinating workplace services and facilities, supporting onboarding and offboarding, assisting with office resources and technology, coordinating meetings and events, and helping resolve day-to-day workplace requirements.
This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working with people, takes initiative and is committed to delivering a high level of service.
Key responsibilities
- Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the workplace, helping maintain a safe, professional, functional and welcoming environment.
- Coordinate workplace services, facilities, office resources, company vehicle bookings, suppliers and service providers.
- Support employee and contractor onboarding and offboarding, including workspaces, building access, equipment and technology.
- Act as a key point of contact for employees, visitors, contractors and service providers, responding to workplace enquiries and access requirements.
- Provide day-to-day liaison and support for IT and technology requirements.
- Support workplace health, safety, security and compliance activities.
- Provide administrative and operational support across the business and maintain efficient office processes.
- Coordinate workplace events, meetings and team activities that contribute to employee engagement and a positive workplace culture.
- Identify opportunities to improve workplace processes, systems and service delivery.
About you To be successful, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in an Office Manager, Workplace Coordinator, Receptionist, Office Administrator or similar role within a busy office environment.
- Experience coordinating workplace services, facilities, suppliers, office resources and technology.
- Experience supporting onboarding and offboarding activities, including access, equipment, technology and workspaces.
- Robust organisational, administrative and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
- A professional, approachable and solutions-focused manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Sound judgement, initiative and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work collaboratively across different teams.
