We're seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our vibrant and rapid-paced team at Dentist for Chickens in Swansea, Edgeworth & Raymond Terrace, NSW. As a Dental Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our dentists and ensuring our feathery patients receive the best possible care. This is a casual position, offering a flexible work schedule to suit your lifestyle.

What you'll be doing
n
Assisting dentists during dental procedures, including sterilising instruments, preparing treatment rooms, and handing instruments to the dentist as needed
n
Interacting with patients, to ensure they feel comfortable and at ease throughout their visit
n
Maintaining accurate patient records and updating dental charts
n
Ordering and managing dental supplies and equipment
n
Promoting excellent customer service and a positive patient experience
n
What we're looking for
n
Minimum 1 year experience as a Dental Assistant, preferably in a general dentistry practice
n
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, dentists, and the wider team
n
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate patient records
n
Flexible and adaptable,
with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting
n
Familiarity with dental equipment and procedures, and a commitment to maintaining a sterile and organised work environment
n
Enthusiasm for providing exceptional customer service and a passion for the healthcare industry
n
Valid Australian work visa or citizen or permanent residency
