Ecocycle Pty Ltd, a leading recycling and waste management company, is seeking a dedicated Yard Hand to join our team in St Marys, NSW. As a Yard Hand, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our recycling facility, contributing to our mission of creating a more sustainable future. About the Role:

n

In this hands-on role, you will primarily be responsible for sorting batteries on a production line and supporting general yard operations. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, teamwork, and physical stamina are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Safely operating and maintaining heavy machinery, such as forklifts
n
- Manually handling and sorting incoming recyclable materials, ensuring they are properly categorised and prepared for processing
n
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of materials
n
- Operate on a production line sorting batteries and materials.
n
- Assist with general yard duties and site cleanliness.
n
- Maintain a clean and safe work setting through daily housekeeping.
n
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
n
- Follow safety protocols at all times.
n

Skills & Experience:

n

n




- Previous experience in production line or manual labour is highly regarded.
n
- A current forklift license isessential.
n
- Physically fit and capable of performing repetitive tasks while standing.
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
n
- Reliable, honest, and safety conscious.
n
- Positive, proactive, and eager to learn.
n
- Strong work ethic with a team-focused mindset.

Working Hours:

n

n
- Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm (with occasional Saturday work as needed).
n
- Flexibility and willingness to work extra hours depending on workload.
n

Additional Requirements:

- Full PPE provided.
n
- Training on handling of materials will be provided.
n
