Enrolled Nurse - Mental Health and Specialised Services Casual Pool

We're excited to welcome an Enrolled Nurse to our Mental Health and Specialised Services Casual Pool.

n

The Mental wards within the service include Rosella (Adolescent-SCUH), Waratah (Older Persons-SCUH), Kamala (Adult - SCUH), Melaleuca (Mental Health Intensive Care Unit - SCUH), Pandanus (Adult and Intensive Care Unit - Nambour), Bunya (Adult and Intensive Care Unit - Nambour), Community Care Unit (Mountain Creek).

There are 94 beds across the Inpatient service.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Adhere to defined service quality standards, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
n
- Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) – State 2015 – Generic Level Statements Nurse Grade 3 and the Queensland Public Service values.
n
- Understand your broad responsibilities for safety and quality in healthcare,



actively participate in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace and notify a relevant clinical or non-clinical responsible officer when concerns exist about workplace or patient safety.
n
- Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.

Salary rates: $47.64 - $50.56 p.h. employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) (NRG3) (Multiple casual positions available, hours negotiable) Applications will remain current for 12 months.
