About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join a busy meat processing and distribution facility based in Lidcombe . This is a permanent, full-time position, ideal for someone who places a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy, and teamwork.
You will play a key role in supporting yard and warehouse operations, ensuring effective goods handling and maintaining a clean, well‑organised work environment.
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to support efficient warehouse and yard operations
- Receive goods in the yard area, including meat, dry goods, and chemicals
- Stack and sort empty pallets
- Group and manage different pallet types
- Maintain accurate stock management for the dry goods area
- Coordinate inbound deliveries and receivals within the yard
- Ensure the yard is kept clean, organised, and safe at all times
- Report incidents and hazards in line with site procedures
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A current High-Risk Forklift Licence (mandatory)
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or yard environment
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when working to strict timelines
- Excellent communication skills
- A strong safety focus
- A team-oriented attitude with a commitment to shared goals
