Paediatric Occupational Therapist – Join a Team That Invests in You
FLEXIBILITY THAT ACTUALLY WORKS
SUPPORT YOU CAN COUNT ON
GROW YOUR SKILLS. BUILD YOUR CAREER.
Are you looking for a paediatric OT role where you can do meaningful work with children and families while being genuinely supported to grow as a clinician? At Hopscotch OT, we believe great OT starts with outstanding support. We are a well-established paediatric OT practice with a strong team culture, flexible working arrangements and a genuine commitment to clinical development.
We are looking for a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team. We welcome applications from New Graduates through to experienced OTs.
Full-time and part-time positions available.
FLEXIBILITY THAT ACTUALLY WORKS
We understand that life doesn't always fit neatly around a 9–5 workday. We work with you to create a schedule that suits your lifestyle, including:
- Flexible start and finish times
- Full time or part-time options
- A combination of clinic and community-based work
- Minimal travel, with community work concentrated in local areas
- The option to start and finish from home on community days
- Work-from-home options for administration time
We want your job to fit into your life — not the other way around.
SUPPORT YOU CAN COUNT ON
Starting a new role, changing clinical areas or building confidence as an OT can be challenging. You won't be expected to figure it out alone. At Hopscotch OT, support is built into the way we work.
You'll have access to
- Weekly 1:1 clinical supervision
- A structured 12-month clinical induction program
- Dedicated training time to build your confidence and clinical skills
- Peer mentoring for early-career OTs
- Regular team supervision and reflective practice
- Internal and external professional development, including paid PD and paid time to attend
- Day-to-day support from experienced OTs

- A team culture that genuinely prioritises wellbeing and burnout prevention
We have extensive experience supporting new graduates and OTs transitioning into paediatrics, and we are passionate about helping clinicians develop their confidence and clinical reasoning. New graduates are also welcome to join us as an OT Assistant prior to receiving registration.
GROW YOUR SKILLS. BUILD YOUR CAREER.
We don't just want you to become competent — we want to help you become an exceptional paediatric OT. Our structured 12-month clinical induction program is designed to accelerate your learning,
with ongoing opportunities to develop your clinical skills beyond your first year.
You'll have access to
- Extensive clinical resources and assessment tools
- Purpose-built therapy spaces
- A large range of therapy equipment and resources
- Internal and external professional development
- Opportunities to work alongside experienced OTs
- Opportunities to collaborate with allied health professionals and educators
- Project work and opportunities to develop areas of clinical interest

- A culture of continuous learning and improvement
Your professional development isn't an afterthought — it's part of your role.

A WORKLOAD THAT SUPPORTS GOOD CLINICAL PRACTICE
We believe quality therapy requires clinicians to have the time and capacity to think, plan and reflect.
That's why we have
- A maximum of 5 client sessions per day
- A reduced maximum of 4 sessions per day for new graduates
- Protected training and professional development time
- Strong administration and IT systems
- Established systems to help you work efficiently
- Minimal travel between community appointments
You'll have the opportunity to focus on doing great OT, rather than constantly feeling like you're racing from one appointment to the next.
