Pastrycooks – Multiple Full-Time Positions

Grand Café is seeking experienced Pastrycooks to join our growing team in Sydney.

We are looking for skilled pastry professionals with experience in the preparation and production of high-quality pastries, cakes, desserts and baked goods. These are permanent, full-time positions within a busy and growing hospitality business.

Key duties

- Prepare and produce a range of pastries, cakes, desserts and baked goods
- Prepare pastry doughs, batters, fillings, creams, glazes and other pastry components
- Prepare laminated dough products including croissants and other viennoiserie
- Bake, decorate and finish pastry products to a consistently high standard
- Follow recipes, production schedules and portion specifications
- Monitor the quality of ingredients and finished products
- Assist with the development of new pastry and dessert products
- Monitor stock levels and ensure ingredients are stored correctly
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and café team to meet daily production requirements

About you To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A relevant qualification in Patisserie,



Commercial Cookery or a closely related field
- At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Pastrycook or Pastry Chef
- Strong pastry preparation and baking skills
- Experience preparing pastries, cakes, doughs, fillings and desserts
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to consistent product quality
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy commercial kitchen
- Good communication and teamwork skills

Position details

- Employment: Permanent, full-time
- Salary: $80,000 per annum + superannuation
- Weekend and early morning work may be required as part of the roster
- Successful applicants may also be required, from time to time, to perform Pastrycook duties at an associated business located in Parramatta NSW
