We are seeking an enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our well-equipped practices located in Yeppoon and Emu Park. This permanent part time role offers an opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team of experienced nurses and general practitioners, delivering high-quality, patient-focused care in a supportive and inclusive environment. You will be required to work across both sites and provide relief for other nursing staff as necessary.

Key responsibilities
n
n
- Administering immunisations and managing post-vaccine observations
n
- Triage and prioritisation of emergency situations
n
- Supporting GPs with minor surgical procedures
n
- Maintaining accurate patient clinical data
n
- Wound care, including dressings, suture removal, ear health and iron infusions
n
- Providing patient education and coaching to support health outcomes
n
- Contributing to a positive, respectful, and team-oriented practice culture
n
n
About you
n
n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n
- Immunisation experience preferred
n
- Experience with Best Practice software
n
- Previous experience in General Practice or an acute care setting
n
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
n
Hours can be negotiated with the successful candidate/s 18 – 36 hours per week being available. Applications close 11 th September 2026.
