An established national contractor is looking to appoint a Site Engineer to join the project team delivering a major $100M aged care development in Brisbane.

n

This role will have a particular focus on quality management, project documentation, registers and reporting, making it an excellent opportunity for either an early-career Engineer or an experienced Project/Site Administrator looking to take the next step.

n

You'll join a well-resourced project team within a business known for its exceptional culture, strong staff retention and genuine commitment to developing people internally.

The Role

n

Working closely with the Project Manager, Site Manager and wider delivery team, you'll play an important role in ensuring the project's quality systems, documentation and reporting are maintained to a high standard.

n

Responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Managing and maintaining project QA documentation and registers
n
- Preparing, coordinating and closing out ITPs and inspection records
n
- Maintaining quality, defects and compliance registers
n
- Assisting with document control and project reporting
n
- Tracking subcontractor documentation and outstanding actions
n
- Coordinating inspections and ensuring records are accurately maintained
n
- Assisting with RFIs, technical queries and drawing registers
n
- Reviewing subcontractor documentation for completeness and compliance
n




- Supporting the site team with quality assurance and project administration
n
- Monitoring actions and following up consultants and subcontractors
n
- Assisting with progress reporting and project records
n
- Supporting the broader construction team as your experience develops
n

About You

n

There are two potential backgrounds that could work particularly well for this position.

n

You may be a Project or Site Administrator with a construction background who has developed strong knowledge of QA, documentation, registers and reporting and is looking for an opportunity to broaden your responsibilities.

n

Alternatively, you could be an early-career Site/Project Engineer with approximately 2-3 years' experience, ideally supported by a degree in:

n

- Civil Engineering
n
- Structural Engineering
n
- Construction Management
n

n

More important than the exact title on your CV will be your attention to detail, organisation and willingness to take ownership.

n

You'll ideally demonstrate:

n

n
- 2-3 years' experience within the Australian construction industry
n
- Strong administration and documentation skills
n
- Exposure to QA systems, ITPs and construction registers
n
- Excellent attention to detail
n




- Confidence working with subcontractors, consultants and site teams
n
- Strong written and verbal communication
n
- Good systems and computer literacy
n
- A proactive attitude and genuine desire to develop your construction career
n
