Your new company Our client is one of Australia’s largest local government organisations, delivering a wide range of essential services to a diverse and growing community. They are currently seeking an experienced Business Services Officer to join the Health, Environment and Sustainability branch on a temporary contract through to the end of December.
Your new role
As the business services officer, you’ll play a key role in providing administrative and business support to ensure the effective delivery of our core services to the Logan community.
- offer efficient administrative and systems support to the Health Environment and Sustainability Branch.
- include highly developed organisational skills, with an ability to manage your workload and collaborate with colleagues to meet deadlines.
- provide extensive experience in a fast-paced business administration environment delivering customer service to multiple teams
- create customer requests in Council's system and make initial contact with members of the public.
- be responsive, accurate and timely in the provision of service excellence to branch programmes.
- maintain an administration procedure manual and develop new procedures, as required.
What you'll need to succeed
- have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- possess extensive experience in administration duties
- provide strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail
- have the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a quick-paced environment
- hold a professional and proactive approach with solid time management skills
