We're looking for an experienced Civil Labourer to support our crews across a large-scale civil project - a great opportunity to build on your civil construction experience with a growing SEQ civil contractor.

About the role
You'll be based on a large-scale civil subdivision project in the Toowoomba region, mobilising from August 2026 as part of a 12-month program involving earthworks, roads, drainage and services installation. Working under the supervision of the Site Foreman, You'll perform a broad range of physical tasks to support the crew, keeping the site safe, tidy and moving to program.
Key responsibilities
Assist with a broad range of construction activities across earthworks, drainage, roads and services installation
Assist with operating and maintaining plant and equipment as directed
Support trades, operators and supervisors
Attend daily prestarts, toolbox talks and safety briefings
Always following WHS requirements
Communicate effectively with the site team and report any issues promptly
Contribute to Bauen positive team culture
About you
Proven experience as a labourer on civil construction or subdivision projects
Sound knowledge of work health and safety requirements
Willingness to work in with the team and follow instruction
Responsible and trustworthy - reliable, punctual, and gets the job done
Current White Card and Driver's License
Physically fit and comfortable with manual outdoor work in all weather conditions
