About the Role

n

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Mortgage Broker to manage and grow our loan book while delivering exceptional service to new and existing clients. This role requires strong relationship management, lead conversion skills, and the ability to support all areas of the lending process from initial enquiry to settlement and retention.

n

The ideal candidate is an all-rounder who can balance new business generation, client retention, lead management, and operational support with a high standard of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

n

Manage and maintain an existing loan book with a focus on long-term client relationships.

n

Conduct regular client reviews to identify refinancing, restructuring, and cross-selling opportunities.

n





Ensure ongoing compliance, service quality, and proactive communication.

n

Develop and implement retention strategies to improve client loyalty and book value.

n

Drive new business through referrals, networking, digital channels, and internal systems.

n

Manage incoming leads, qualify prospects, and convert them into active applications.

n

Build a strong pipeline of future opportunities through consistent follow-up and engagement.

n

Support marketing initiatives and campaigns to improve lead flow and brand presence.

n

Provide tailored lending solutions based on comprehensive client needs analysis.

n

Prepare and submit loan applications, supporting documents, and lender negotiations.

n

Work closely with lenders, BDMs, and internal staff to ensure smooth processing and settlements.

n

Maintain a high level of accuracy, compliance, and documentation integrity.

n

Support broader team functions including systems, administration, and process improvements.

n

Provide general support across the business, ensuring efficient workflow and client experience.

n

Assist with training, product updates, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills & Experience

n





Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking (essential)

n

Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management (preferred)

n

1–3+ years of experience in mortgage broking or lending

n

Strong understanding of lender policies, products, and compliance requirements

n

Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills

n

Proven ability to convert leads and retain clients

n

High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

n

Ability to work both independently and within a team environment

n

Proactive and self-driven

n

Strong relationship builder

n

Commercially minded with a growth mindset

n

Tech-savvy and comfortable with CRM, aggregator platforms, and digital tools
