This is an opportunity to step into a major, complex project at one of its most significant stages, evaluating the market and helping determine which technology solution should be selected and why.

The requirements are established, vendors are engaged and the focus is now firmly on evaluation, interpretation, selection and award.

You'll sit across Technology, Operations, Procurement and Vendors, attending vendor presentations and demonstrations, interpreting complex responses and working with technical specialists to look beyond what's written in the tender submission.

You'll help challenge assumptions, identify gaps and risks, compare competing solutions and bring together the technical, operational and commercial picture to support a robust and defensible award decision.

From there, you'll help turn the decision into the commercial documentation required to take the project through governance and contract award.

What we're looking for
We're less concerned about your current job title and more interested in what you've actually done.
You may be a Principal or Senior Procurement Advisor, Commercial Advisor, Technology Procurement Specialist, Strategic Sourcing professional, Analyst or Consultant.

What we'd really like to see is:

- Hands-on experience evaluating complex technology RFP/RFT responses




- Confidence participating in vendor presentations, demonstrations and clarification sessions
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to interpret technical information
- Experience supporting vendor selection, recommendation and contract award
- Excellent written capability across evaluation, commercial and award documentation
- Experience working on large-scale, highly governed projects

Exposure to technology supporting complex operational or asset-intensive environments would be particularly valuable, including Operational Technology, control networks, digital infrastructure, communications, asset management systems and other critical operational systems.

Rail or transport experience would be highly regarded, but we're equally interested in relevant backgrounds across mining, resources, utilities and major infrastructure.

We're also keen to hear from people from consulting and advisory backgrounds who have helped clients evaluate complex technology solutions and make major investment decisions.
