Morton Landscaping is looking for a Landscape Construction Apprentice to join our team in the Southern Highlands.

This position would suit someone looking to start an apprenticeship or an existing 1st, 2nd or 3rd year apprentice wanting broader experience across high-quality residential landscape construction.

We work on a wide variety of projects throughout the Southern Highlands, from detailed residential gardens through to larger rural properties and complete landscape installations.

The Role

You will work alongside experienced staff and develop practical skills across all areas of landscape construction, including:

- Paving and stonework

- Timber construction

- Retaining walls and landscape structures

- Steel edging and detailing

- Drainage and irrigation

- Soil preparation and planting

- Turf installation

- Excavation and machinery operation

- Site preparation and set-out

- Reading landscape plans and construction details

- General landscape construction

The work is varied and provides an prospect to learn the complete landscape construction trade rather than being limited to one area.

About You

Previous landscaping or construction experience is beneficial but not essential.

More importantly, we are looking for someone who:

- Has a strong work ethic





- Takes pride in their work

- Is willing to listen and learn

- Enjoys practical, hands-on work

- Is comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions

- Works well as part of a small team

- Has a current driver's licence or reliable transport

- Holds or is willing to obtain a White Card

You don't need to know everything. We are looking for someone with the right attitude who wants to develop their skills and become a capable landscape tradesperson.
