Located in Melbourne's western growth corridor, this Catholic co-educational secondary college serves Years 7 to 12 within the Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS) network. With approximately 1,000+ students on a spacious single campus, the college has grown significantly since its establishment and continues to expand alongside one of Melbourne's fastest-growing residential areas.

The college fosters a warm, values-driven culture where pastoral care is central. A dedicated House system is supported by a wellbeing team including a psychologist, social worker, chaplain, and family liaison officer.

Role Overview

- Position Type: Full Time Permanent
- Start Date: Term 1, 2027 (January)
- Location: Melbourne's Western Suburbs
- Subject Areas / Year Levels: Science, Years 7-12
- Salary: $78,564 to $118,063 FTE depending on experience and classification. POL allowances apply for leadership positions.

Role Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Science lessons across Years 7-12 aligned to the Victorian Curriculum and VCAA requirements
- Teach VCE Science subjects with confidence and subject expertise, supporting students to achieve their personal best in senior pathways




- Design practical and inquiry-based learning experiences that foster scientific curiosity and critical thinking across all year levels
- Maintain accurate student records, assessments and reporting in line with college and MACS requirements
- Collaborate with faculty colleagues on Science curriculum planning, moderation and skilled learning
- Embrace and actively promote the college's Catholic ethos and Gospel values by fostering inclusive relationships and participating in faith-based activities including liturgies and social justice initiatives

About You
You're a qualified teacher who:

- Holds or is eligible to obtain Australian/NZ Citizenship, PR or valid work rights (Working Holiday Visa holders encouraged to apply)
- Holds or is eligible to obtain Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration
- Has an updated resume and can provide at least two recent professional references
- Brings creativity and adaptability to lesson planning and delivery
- Maintains high expectations for student learning and wellbeing
