AndFound Educate is currently partnering with a large independent Islamic co-educational college in Melbourne's west to appoint an Arabic Studies Teacher (Primary and Secondary).

Located in Melbourne's western growth corridor, this independent co-educational college serves students from Prep to Year 12 on a single campus. With a student population of approximately 2,000+, the school is one of the largest independent colleges in the region and continues to grow.
The college offers an extensive range of senior pathways including VCE, VCE Vocational Major, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme - one of very few schools in Melbourne's west to offer this combination. As a registered training organisation, the school also delivers vocational qualifications in office.

Role Overview
- Position Type: Full Time Permanent
- Start Date: Term 1, 2027 (January)
- Location: Melbourne's Western Suburbs
- Subject Areas / Year Levels: Arabic Studies, Primary and Secondary (Prep-Year 12)
- Visa Requirements: Full VIT Registration required. No PTT or visa sponsorship available for this role.
- Salary: $78,564 to $118,063 FTE depending on experience and classification. POL allowances apply for leadership positions.
Role Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging,
differentiated Arabic Studies lessons across primary and secondary year levels aligned to the Victorian Curriculum and school requirements
- Foster students' Arabic language skills across reading, writing, speaking and listening, connecting language learning to cultural identity and community values
- Create an inclusive and culturally sensitive learning environment that reflects the values and diversity of the school community
- Maintain accurate student records, assessments and reporting in line with college requirements
- Collaborate with faculty colleagues on Arabic Studies curriculum planning, moderation and professional learning across both primary and secondary settings
- Contribute to the broader school community through pastoral care, cultural events and co-curricular engagement
About You
You're a qualified teacher who:
- Holds full Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration — PTT holders and those requiring visa sponsorship are unable to be considered for this role
- Holds Australian/NZ Citizenship or Permanent Residency with full working rights in Australia
- Has an updated resume and can provide at least two recent professional references
- Brings creativity and adaptability to lesson planning and delivery
- Maintains high expectations for student learning and wellbeing
