About the role

Geonbae is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Casual Wait Staff to join our dynamic hospitality team in Hastings, VIC. This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst providing an excellent opportunity to develop your hospitality skills in a vibrant restaurant environment. You will be at the forefront of our guests' experience, delivering outstanding service and creating memorable dining moments.

What you'll be doing

- Greeting guests warmly and escorting them to their tables in a professional and friendly manner

- Taking accurate food and beverage orders and communicating them effectively to the kitchen and bar teams

- Serving food and drinks promptly whilst maintaining the highest standards of presentation and hygiene

- Providing knowledgeable recommendations about menu items, specials and beverages

- Ensuring tables are set correctly and maintained throughout the dining experience

- Clearing and resetting tables efficiently between seatings

- Processing payments and handling cash or card transactions accurately

- Responding to guest queries and concerns with professionalism and courtesy

- Maintaining a clean and organised dining area and station

- Working collaboratively with kitchen, bar and housekeeping teams to ensure seamless service

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in a wait staff or hospitality role is essential for this role

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage guests in a friendly and professional manner

- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

- Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment and manage multiple tables simultaneously





- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and carry trays of food and beverages

- Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends

- A positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile to deliver exceptional customer service

- Basic numeracy skills for handling payments and calculations

- Willingness to learn and adapt to restaurant procedures and systems
