Our client is a highly respected global investment management organisation with a significant international footprint and a reputation for delivering exceptional outcomes for investors. As the business continues its growth trajectory, a current opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Business Partner to play a pivotal commercial role in supporting their strategic expansion into Asia.

This highly visible commercial finance role will serve as the lead FP&A; business partner supporting entry into Asia markets, with a particular focus on Singapore and Japan.

The Role
As a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders across Asia and Australia, you will provide the financial insights and commercial analysis required to support market expansion initiatives, partnership opportunities, investment decisions and other strategic priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

- Acting as the lead FP&A; business partner for Asia, providing strategic financial support and decision-making insight.
- Leading annual planning, budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning for business activities across the region.
- Developing sophisticated financial models and scenario analyses to support investment and resource allocation decisions.
- Evaluating growth opportunities, business cases and strategic market-entry initiatives.
- Monitoring financial performance, business drivers and operational metrics to identify emerging risks and opportunities.
- Preparing executive-level reporting, presentations and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Partnering with stakeholders across multiple countries,



functions and time zones to deliver commercially focused outcomes.
- Driving continuous improvement across planning, forecasting and performance management processes.

Candidate Experience
We are seeking an experienced FP&A; or commercial finance professional who combines strong technical capability with outstanding stakeholder engagement skills.

You will be comfortable operating in a complex, international environment and have a demonstrated ability to influence senior decision-makers through insightful financial analysis and commercial advice.

To be successful, you will bring:

- Significant experience in FP&A;, commercial finance or strategic business partnering roles.
- A strong track record supporting senior leaders within complex corporate or financial services environments.
- Advanced financial modelling, forecasting and business case development skills.
- Experience supporting regional, Asia-Pacific or international operations.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate business strategy into financial outcomes.
- Experience working across multiple geographies and managing stakeholder relationships in diverse cultural environments.

Experience within asset management, wealth management, superannuation, banking or broader financial services will be highly regarded. Previous exposure to Singapore and/or Japan markets would be particularly attractive. Professional proficiency in Japanese or another Asian language would be advantageous but is not essential.
