APS4 Claims Support Officer | Compensation Claims

Support complex and sensitive compensation claims for current and former service members, applying legislation and policy while managing client enquiries, records and assessments. Australian citizenship and a current Baseline clearance are required.

Location: Perth, WA
Contract Duration: Until May 2027, with possible extension up to 12 months
Security Clearance Requirement: Baseline Clearance
Closing Date: 10:00am, 04 September 2026

Essential Tasks

- Receive, document and process compensation claims in line with legislation and policy.
- Research and assess complex or sensitive client information to support claims decisions.
- Manage client enquiries, correspondence and inbound and outbound calls professionally.
- Maintain accurate client records and collaborate with stakeholders to progress claims.

Key Criteria

- Solid attention to detail and accuracy when managing sensitive information and records.




- Ability to research and assess complex information against legislation and policy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for client and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to manage competing priorities, exercise judgement and work collaboratively.
