Training Design and Delivery Lead
Do you want to be part of a small and exceptional team at the Australia New Zealand Policing Advisory Agency National Institute of Forensic Science (ANZPAA NIFS)? An excellent opportunity exists for a self-motivated individual with an education and training background to lead the delivery of outcomes for a firearm examination capability project.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Australia New Zealand Policing Advisory Agency works in partnership with the Australian and New Zealand police jurisdictions and key partner agencies to develop, promote and advise on current policing priorities to position policing for the future.
The National Institute of Forensic Science, a directorate within the agency, provides high quality and cutting-edge products, services, and advice to enhance the forensic sciences for police, justice, and the community, working collaboratively with police and governance agencies.
The training design and delivery lead will play a critical role in working with firearm examination practitioners across Australian policing jurisdictions to review, amend and streamline the delivery of training and assessments in the National Training Curriculum.
This role can be undertaken remotely from an Australian-based location.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a self-driven, passionate, and flexible individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
You will have qualifications or experience in delivering education, training and assessments.
You will excel in a fast-paced,
multi-faceted environment where no two days are the same. Therefore, you need to be comfortable with multiple tasks, focused on quality results and responsive to stakeholder needs.
You will enjoy the challenge of contributing to an agile and responsive Agency culture, taking ownership of identifying process improvements and implementing new systems.
QUALIFICATIONS and EXPERIENCE
Mandatory
- Relevant qualification in instructional design, education, learning and development or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Understanding and experience with vocational education training (VET) frameworks and standards.
- Applicants must be an Australian Citizen or New Zealand Citizen (who have unrestricted rights to employment in Australia) and be able to obtain and maintain a national security clearance.
- The preferred candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment security checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
