O'Halloran Medical Centre is expanding its' clinical services and is in search of a unique individual to join our administrative team at the bustling reception desk.
The administrative team's responsibilities include:
- Welcoming patients.
- Handling phone inquiries and making calls to patients and stakeholders.
- Scheduling patient appointments for our General Practitioners and Allied Health team using Best Practice clinical software.
- Demonstrating accurate data entry skills.
- Managing incoming documentation.
- Processing billing and receipting of patient accounts through Tyro, Hicaps, and cash transactions.
- Adhering strictly to the latest privacy and confidentiality regulations.
- Participating in all training and staff meetings as scheduled.
This casual position offers approximately 15 hours per week.
The successful candidate must be available to cover sick leave on short notice and fill in for staff on annual leave. Our clinic operates six days a week, from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm, including public holidays. Saturdays and public holidays involve shared shifts within the administrative team, and flexibility to cover various shifts is crucial.
The chosen candidate will receive training in our systems and procedures. However, confidence in working independently and as part of a team is essential. Applicants are required to present relevant police clearances, a working with children check, and current CPR certification. We are looking for someone with outstanding interpersonal skills, a passion for assisting our patients, a kind demeanor, and a desire to work within a dynamic team workplace.
