ABOUT US

Delivering Dental is a fully mobile dental clinic, providing young children with a quality, safe and fun dental experience in a familiar environment. We perform comprehensive oral examinations and cleans on children in their early education centres. We operate in South East Queensland, Central Queensland and Greater Perth, Western Australia.

We service all communities, trying to negate one of the main barriers to health care (access). We find that children are a lot more excited and compliant in their own setting and much more likely to be cooperative. It fosters a positive relationship with the dental practitioner and the child's oral health.

We also educate the community on the importance of oral health and good health choices.

Compared to a standard dental practice, we bring the service to the community. We are different to dental vans in that we set up inside the early education centre so there is a complete integration into the children's day-to-day life.

ABOUT THE POSITION

- Generous daily (per centre) rate

- Full training and support provided

- Short days, providing flexibility around life commitments

- 2 days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday)





- This is a long-term contract position of 12 months or more

ABOUT YOU

- You will be someone who enjoys the company of chlildren (providing them with a comprehensive check and clean - no treatment!)

- You will have excellent communication skills and the confidence to educate small groups of children about the importance of oral hygiene

- You will have excellent attention to detail and high standards of infection control

- You will have a drivers licence and be willing to travel to centres in the company car or your own car (travel distances vary, travel time compensated in addition to daily rate)

- Current AHPRA registration, professional indemnity insurance and public liability insurance

- Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position.

- A valid Working with Children Check is required before commencement.

- This position is open to qualified dentists, oral health therapists, and dental hygienists.
