Looking for an upper limb physiotherapy role with a varied caseload, supportive team and robust development opportunities? Extend Rehabilitation is on the lookout for a passionate and committed Upper Limb Physiotherapist to join our thriving Indooroopilly clinic!
The Role
Due to ongoing growth in referrals and clinic demand, we are seeking a motivated Upper Limb Physiotherapist to join our thriving Indooroopilly clinic on a part-time basis (approx. 22.5 hrs per week). While your primary location of work will be at Indooroopilly, you will also be required to provide occasional coverage at our other Extend Rehabilitation clinics around Brisbane as needed.
Our diverse caseload provides our therapists with an incredible variety of clinical work including shoulder/sports/workplace injuries, fracture and tendon rehabilitation, chronic upper limb pain management as well as elbow/wrist and hand conditions.
The opportunity to receive training in hand therapy is also available for the right individual!
Your key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Delivering high-quality shoulder and elbow rehabilitation.
- Managing a diverse caseload including post-operative and fracture clinic patients.
- Liaising with surgeons and other referrers.
- Maintaining accurate and thorough clinical documentation.
- Contributing positively to a supportive, vibrant team culture.
What We’re Looking For
Our ideal candidate thrives in a customer service environment and loves creating long-term relationships with clients. You are passionate, professional, solution-oriented and love working as part of a team.
The successful candidate may be early career or a seasoned clinician with extensive experience.
Additionally, you will have/be:
- Degree-qualified in Physiotherapy with full Ahpra registration.
- Specific interest or emerging interest in shoulder and elbow physiotherapy.
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check and NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willing to obtain).
- Strong time management and communication skills.
- The capacity to work independently, proactively and empathetically with clients.
- A commitment to evidence-based practice as well as lifelong learning and professional growth.
