About the role

Kenlow is seeking Fabricators to join our caravan and industrial textile manufacturing team. We welcome candidates with relevant experience looking to further develop their skills, through to highly experienced fabricators seeking a senior role with greater responsibility and the opportunity to lead and support others.

Experience in canvas, PVC and other industrial textile fabrication is highly valued. Candidates from auto trimming, marine trimming, industrial sewing, upholstery, manufacturing are encouraged to apply.

Candidates with trades experience from other industries, looking for a change and grow their careers are also encouraged to apply.

These are full-time roles based in Maddington, with responsibilities and career progression tailored to your skills and experience.

What you'll be doing

- Manufacture and finish caravan annexes, awnings, custom covers, tarpaulins, tool bags and other industrial textile products

- Measure, cut, shape, sew, weld and assemble fabrics and components to specification

- Read and interpret plans, drawings and job specifications

- Operate industrial sewing, high-frequency welding,



cutting and other manufacturing equipment

- Contribute to production planning, workflows, quality and manufacturing efficiencies

- For senior candidates, provide technical guidance and support to other team members and customers

- Gain exposure to Kenlow's broader manufacturing operations, including outdoor blinds and awnings

What we're looking for

- Experience in textile fabrication, industrial sewing, auto or marine trimming, upholstery or similar manufacturing

- Hands-on knowledge of manufacturing processes, tools and equipment

- Experience with industrial sewing, high-frequency welding, fabric cutting and shaping is highly advantageous

- Strong practical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

- Pride in workmanship and commitment to producing high-quality products

- Positive communication skills and a collaborative approach to working within a team

- For senior applicants, strong technical knowledge and the ability to guide and support other staff

- Driver's licence required; forklift licence is advantageous
