Position Overview
We are looking for a diligent and methodical Scheduler to join our Portfolio Management Office at AEC.
Reporting into our Planning Lead, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and reporting on project schedules to support the successful delivery of projects across AEC and the wider OCU ANZ Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and baseline detailed project schedules in Primavera P6.
- Update schedules with actual progress, forecasts and resources, ensuring accurate schedule logic, constraints and critical path integrity are maintained.
- Monitor progress against baseline, including milestones, critical path activities and float consumption and report on schedule variances.
- Prepare weekly and monthly schedule reports,
dashboards and look-ahead plans for construction and engineering teams
- Support schedule risk analysis, delay assessments and time impact analyses.
- Coordinate with project teams to resolve scheduling conflicts and develop recovery schedules where required.
- Good understanding of project environments, construction sequencing, and critical path analysis.
- Ensure compliance with PMO scheduling procedures and standards
Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
- 2–5+ years’ experience in scheduling or planning within construction, infrastructure or renewables.
- Experience developing and maintaining project schedules in Primavera P6.
- Good understanding of project environments, construction sequencing and critical path analysis.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Robust communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant qualifications in Construction, Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline are desirable, but not essential.
