Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain accurate financial information, accounting records and reporting outputs across the business.

- Support month-end and year-end reporting, including journals, reconciliations, trial balance review and profit and loss analysis.

- Prepare dealership summary reports, presentations and financial reporting as required.

- Liaise with dealerships and departments to provide accounting support and respond to finance-related queries.

- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, external audit requirements and financial analysis.

- Contribute to process improvements,



reporting efficiencies and automation opportunities within the finance function.

Other Skills and/or Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a higher relevant qualification; bookkeeping experience or a relevant certificate may also be considered.

- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in an accounts, finance or accounting-based role.

- Strong understanding of accounting standards, relevant legislation and financial compliance requirements.

- High attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality when working with financial information.

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet reporting deadlines.

- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and clear professional communication skills.

- Experience with MYOB or similar accounting software, and exposure to dealership, automotive, transport or multi-site environments, will be highly regarded.
