Cohort is part of a growing 30+ venue network. We are looking for a switched-on hospo superstar to run our busy Bondi Junction flagship store.

A hands-on role, leading from the front, you will drive sales through excellent customer service whilst using your experience & initiative to manage costs.

You will work alongside the owners and group ops team to deliver the best product and experience to our customers.

Opportunities for multi-site management and even equity for stores within the group will be considered for the right person. We recognise and reward talent and loyalty.

Key responsibilities

- Leading, motivating and developing the cafe team

- Managing daily operations and service flow

- Rostering and labour management

- Maintaining strong customer service standards

- Stock control, ordering and waste management

- Monitoring sales, labour and COGS targets

- Recruitment, training and performance management

- Maintaining presentation, cleanliness and operational standards

- Working closely with the barista team to ensure coffee quality and consistency





- Building relationships with our regular customers and the local Bondi Junction community

About you

- Minimum 3 years experience leading a team in a cafe, hospitality or similar management role

- Proven experience managing a busy, high volume venue

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Good understanding of rostering labour and cost control

- Coffee knowledge and an understanding of specialty coffee

- A hands on approach and willingness to lead from the floor

- Strong organisational and problem solving skills

- A genuine passion for hospitality, people and customers experience

- Full works rights for 24+ months required
