About the role
We are seeking experienced Landscape Leading Hands to run our upcoming landscape construction commercial projects across southside of Brisbane:
- Logan City Region.
- Redlands Bay Region.
Job tasks and responsibilities
- Daily communication with the Project Manager regarding works in progress.
- Direction of crew including subcontractors.
- Ensuring a continuous and active site presence to manage site personnel and machinery.
- Controlling and signing off on deliveries.
- Ensuring efficient production and quality of works from subcontractors.
- Explaining the Key Performance Indicators to all onsite staff.
Your experience in all of the following areas will be highly regarded:
- Minimum 3+ years experience in the commercial landscape industry.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Leading Hand or similar role.
- Trade Qualification in Horticulture and/or Landscape Construction (desirable).
- Working at Heights & Yellow Card (desirable).
- First Aid + CPR Qualified (desirable).
- Sound knowledge of horticulture.
- Experience with processing purchase orders, budget tracking, safety documentation and associated site paperwork accurately is essential.
- General Construction Induction Card.
- Experience with concrete placement, masonry works, paving and timber work.
