And now, we’re looking for a Store Manager to lead our Shoes & Sox Chatswood Myer team!

If you’re a retail leader who loves being on the floor, knows how to bring a team together and gets a genuine buzz from helping kids find their perfect pair of shoes, this could be your next move.

As Store Manager at Shoes & Sox Chatswood Myer, you’ll take the lead in one of Sydney’s most vibrant retail destinations. You’ll be responsible for creating an experience that makes shopping for kids’ shoes easy, enjoyable and memorable — while building a high-performing team that loves what they do.

You’ll be the captain, coach and cheerleader of the store: leading from the front, driving performance and creating a positive environment where your team can thrive.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

- Lead from the front – motivate, inspire and develop your Chatswood team while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Coach and celebrate – recognise great performance, tackle challenges together and build a team that’s proud to work at Shoes & Sox.
- Own the numbers – monitor sales, KPIs and store performance, turning insights into action.
- Bring the store to life – keep the Chatswood Myer store clean, inviting, fun and visually on-point.
- Stay smart on stock – maintain strong stock control, minimise shrinkage and keep the store running smoothly.
- Create a great customer experience – make every family feel welcome and every child feel confident about their new shoes.
- Champion your team – foster a safe,



supportive and positive workplace where everyone feels valued and empowered to do their best.

ABOUT YOU

You bring the energy, empathy and retail experience needed to lead a busy store and a great team.

You’ll ideally have:

- Proven experience in retail leadership, with the ability to coach, train and develop a team.
- A genuine love of working with kids and their families — patience is definitely a superpower!
- A solid understanding of KPIs, sales targets and store performance.
- The confidence to lead a team in a busy Chatswood retail environment.
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to stay calm, focused and solutions-oriented when things get busy.
- A natural ability to build relationships with customers, your team and the wider Myer environment.
- A curious mindset — you’re always looking for ways to learn, improve and try something new.
- The energy to be hands-on and lead your team from the shop floor.

Most importantly, you’ll be someone who wants to make Chatswood your store.
