Hospitality Allrounders – Two Casual Positions - shared accommodation

Urapuntja Aboriginal Corporation is seeking two reliable and adaptable casual Hospitality Allrounders to join our team in a unique remote Aboriginal community setting.

These positions may suit a couple, friends or colleagues who would enjoy working and living together.

About Urapuntja

Urapuntja Aboriginal Corporation provides vital services to the Anmatyerre and Alyawarra people across the Angarapa and Alyawarra Land Trusts. Our operational footprint spans more than 3,200 km², with 16 homelands located near Arlparra, approximately 250 km north-east of Alice Springs.

We are a dry community, where no alcohol is permitted, and are proud to have a collaborative team guided by Traditional Owners and Aboriginal staff.

The roles include:

- Preparing and serving café-style meals

- Cleaning kitchens, accommodation and common areas

- Ordering and maintaining catering and cleaning supplies

- Assisting with reception, mail and general administration





- Providing friendly service to community members, staff and visitors

About you:

- Reliable, versatile and willing to assist wherever needed

- Friendly, respectful and culturally sensitive

- Strong customer service and communication skills

- Able to work independently and as part of a team

- Hospitality, cleaning or administration experience preferred

- Current driver’s licence

- NT Ochre Card, or willingness to obtain one

- Current Australian working rights

Information for Working Holiday Maker visa holders

Please note that these roles qualify as “specified work” for the purpose of eligibility for a second or third Working Holiday Maker visa (subclass 417 or 462). Applicants are responsible for confirming their individual visa conditions and eligibility with the Department of Home Affairs.
