We’re looking for a friendly, organised, and hands-on Canteen Assistant to join our team at Grantham. If you enjoy cooking, creating menu options, and supporting staff in a rapid-paced environment, this could be the perfect role for you.

Your Role

Reporting to the HR Manager, you’ll play a key part in keeping our plant team nourished and happy. From preparing and serving meals to managing supplies and maintaining a clean kitchen, you’ll ensure the canteen runs smoothly every day.

What You’ll Be Doing
• Prepare and serve meals for staff, catering to a variety of tastes
• Manage regular ordering and stock takes of canteen supplies




• Maintain a clean, safe, and productive kitchen environment
• Cook a variety of meals and create recent daily menu options for staff
• Use cafeteria-style point-of-sale software to process transactions

What We’re Looking For
• Experience in food service or hospitality
• Confident using point-of-sale systems
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
• Organised, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Passionate about preparing quality meals and supporting a team
