The Provincial Hotel is looking for an experienced Assistant Venue Manager to join the team and help lead one of Melbourne’s busy late-night venues.

We’re looking for a confident, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced setting, knows how to lead a team through a busy service and can confidently manage the challenges that come with late-night trade.

Already an AVM? Great. A strong Senior Duty Manager ready to take the next step would also be a great fit.

What you’ll be doing
Supporting the Venue Manager with day-to-day operations
Leading the team through busy services and late-night trade
Managing patron welfare, incidents, RSA and venue compliance
Coaching and developing the team
Driving great guest experiences and strong venue standards
Stepping up and taking ownership when the VM isn’t there





What we’re looking for
Experience as an AVM, or a Senior DM ready to step up
Robust pub, bar or late-night venue experience
A confident and calm approach to challenging situations
Solid leadership and communication skills
A genuine interest in developing your hospitality career
