About the role

We are seeking a talented and passionate Casual Chef to join our team at the Robin Hood Hotel in Norwood SA 5067. As a Casual Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. This is a casual position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team of culinary professionals.

What you'll be doing
Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a timely and effective manner
Ensuring all food items are fresh, properly stored and handled according to health and safety guidelines
Collaborating with the kitchen team to maintain high standards of quality and presentation
Adhering to portion control and controlling food costs
Assisting with menu planning and development as needed
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

What we're looking for
Proven experience as a chef or cook in a similar fast-paced hospitality setting
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Excellent time management and multitasking skills




Ability to work well in a team and under pressure
Creativity and a passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals
Relevant qualifications or certifications in hospitality or culinary arts
