We have an opening for the following roles based near Rottnest Island WA We are seeking 6x applicants for full time hospitality positions classified at Level 3 under the Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2020. The work may involve kitchen, food and beverage, and guest service duties, depending on operational requirements and the applicant’s skills, training and experience.
Approximate commencement date is September 2026. The employment may be for approximately 2 years, depending on operational requirements. You will work a minimum of 38 hours per week.
Pay rate: $27.97 per hour, plus applicable penalty rates and allowances in accordance with the Hospitality Industry (General) Award 2020. The job may have diverse responsibilities and duties which may include:
Assist with food preparation and cooking according to required standards.
Prepare and assemble ingredients for cooking.
Assist with general kitchen operations and maintain kitchen areas and equipment.
Provide food and beverage service,
including taking orders and serving guests.
Prepare and maintain dining and service areas.
Assist guests with general requests and provide friendly and skilled service.
Maintain guest, dining and service areas in a clean and presentable condition.
Monitor supplies and report shortages or operational issues.
Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
Work with other employees to support productive hospitality operations.
Perform other reasonable duties consistent with the employee’s skills, training, education and experience.
Applicants must be available to work weekends and public holidays as required. You must perform such additional duties and responsibilities as required from time to time, provided they are within your skills, training, education and experience. There will be potential to upskill and training will be provided. You do not have to be an Australian citizen to apply for this work, but you will need to hold a valid working visa.
