Landscape Apprentice (1st or 2nd year) - Sutherland Shire | Mon–Thu roster + half day Fridays | Learn a real trade
Start your trade with a crew that will actually teach you
At Nuview Landscapes we build high-end residential gardens across the Sutherland Shire and southern Sydney. We're after a 1st or 2nd year apprentice who wants to come out the other end a proper landscape tradesperson - not someone to park on a shovel for four years.
Why you'll love it here
You'll be taught properly - small crew, working alongside a qualified leading hand on well-scoped jobs
Real variety: decks, pergolas, paving, stonework, retaining walls, turf and planting
Work-life balance: Mon–Thu 7:00–3:45pm, half-day Friday, no weekends unless really needed
Full support through your Certificate III, including your paid TAFE day
Steady pipeline of residential projects booked months ahead
Supportive, down-to-earth team built on respect, reliability and quality work
About the role
Day to day you'll be on site with the crew - setting up and packing down,
moving and prepping materials, excavation and base prep, mixing, laying pavers, building walls, turfing and planting, and keeping the site clean and protected. As you progress you'll take on more of the skilled work and less of the barrow work. You'll be supported through your Certificate III in Landscape Construction.
About you
Currently a 1st or 2nd year apprentice, or have started your Certificate III in Landscape Construction
Current driver's licence and your own car - you need to be able to get yourself to site
White Card (Construction Induction card)
Fit, reliable, and on site on time every day
Keen to learn, ask questions and take direction
Respectful of clients' homes - most of our work happens in people's backyards
Hit apply with your resume. If you haven't got one, send us a short note about what you've done so far and why you want to landscape.
