About the role

Axiis Contracting is seeking an experienced Quick-Cut Saw Operator to join our team. The role primarily involves cutting concrete footpaths, crossovers, pram ramps and other concrete structures in preparation for demolition and replacement.

Key responsibilities
Saw cutting concrete footpaths, crossovers and pram ramps
Completing straight, accurate cuts to the required depth
Using wet-cutting and dust-suppression controls
Conducting daily checks and basic maintenance of cutting equipment
Assisting with concrete demolition and general site duties when required
Following Axiis and client safety procedures

About you
Demonstrated experience operating petrol-powered quick-cut saws
Experience cutting concrete safely and accurately
Current MR driver's licence
Current White Card
Knowledge of silica dust-control requirements
Physical fitness required for repetitive, hands-on work
Reliable attitude and solid work ethic
Ability to work safely within a civil construction crew
