About the role

You'll work across a broad range of residential and commercial installation and maintenance projects, rather than doing the same type of work every day. For a newly qualified electrician, this is an opportunity to continue developing your skills while having experienced tradespeople and solid office support behind you. For a 4th Year Apprentice, you'll get exposure to a wide range of work to help prepare you for becoming a capable and confident tradesperson.

Key responsibilities
Residential electrical installations and maintenance
Commercial installations and maintenance
Fault finding and electrical repairs
Switchboard upgrades and alterations
Lighting and power installations
Air conditioning electrical works
Renovations and new installations
Preventative and scheduled maintenance
Testing, compliance and electrical safety work
Working independently and alongside other members of the team

About you
Currently a 4th Year Electrical Apprentice or newly qualified electrician
Current Australian driver's licence
Takes pride in their workmanship
Positive attitude and willing to learn
Can communicate professionally with customers




Reliable and turns up ready to work
Can work independently as experience develops
Works well as part of a team
Understands the importance of electrical safety and compliance
Keeps work area, vehicle and job sites organised

About us

Inghams Electrical is looking for a 4th Year Electrical Apprentice or Newly Qualified Electrician to join our growing team. We operate a 9-day fortnight, provide a company vehicle for suitable employees to take home, supply required PPE, and offer strong office support for scheduling, customer communication and administration.
