We are seeking a reliable and experienced MC Truck Driver to join our team at Adelaide Contract Warehousing. This is a crucial role that supports the overall operations of our road transport business.
What you'll be doing
Operate B Double vehicles (MC class) to transport and deliver goods from our depot to interstate.
Conduct pre-departure checks and maintain vehicle logs in accordance with company policies and safety regulations
Assist with the loading and unloading of goods at delivery sites
Ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods while adhering to all relevant traffic laws and driving regulations
Provide excellent customer service and liaise with clients as required
Report any issues or incidents to the management team
Maintain the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the assigned vehicle
What we're looking for
A valid MC class driver's licence with a proven track record of secure driving
Extensive experience (minimum 2 years) driving large commercial vehicles in a road transport or logistics environment
Solid knowledge of traffic regulations and secure driving practices
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical fitness and stamina to handle the physical demands of the role
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as required
