About the role

A reliable, dependable Support Worker role covering 2 regular nights a week to start. The client base is growing, so there is a genuine chance to pick up more hours and build toward ongoing, regular work. This role is ideal for those after a steady, regular commitment with room to grow hours over time. You'll be supporting clients across the service area from Victor Harbor through to Adelaide and up to Mount Barker, so a willingness to travel and a reliable car are essential.

Key responsibilities
Providing in-home personal care and daily living support
Assisting with domestic tasks, meal preparation and medication prompts
Supporting clients to get out and about - appointments, shopping, social activities
Encouraging independence, dignity and choice for every client
Working across the service area, with the flexibility to pick up extra shifts as hours grow
Keeping accurate notes and communicating clearly with the team

About you
Reliable availability for 2 nights a week, and openness to more hours as they come
Current driver's licence and a reliable, insured vehicle
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)




Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Working with Children's Check (or willingness to obtain)
Valuable communication skills and a warm, respectful, can-do attitude
Manual Handling certificate (or willingness to obtain)
The right to work in Australia
Desirable: Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing/Disability) or equivalent
Desirable: Previous experience in aged care, disability or community support
Desirable: Experience supporting clients with a range of needs
