Chef /Cook – New Cafe Opening in Gymea

We are opening a brand new cafe at 89 Gymea Bay Rd, Gymea and are looking for experienced Chef/Cook to join our opening kitchen team.

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for preparing and delivering high-quality dishes while maintaining consistency, organisation and food safety standards in a busy cafe kitchen.

What we’re looking for:
Previous experience as a Chef or Cook in a cafe or restaurant
Robust food preparation and cooking skills
Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods
Good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene
Reliable, organised and team-oriented




Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a new business
Availability across weekdays and weekends

Because this is a brand recent cafe, you’ll have the opportunity to join from the beginning and contribute to establishing the kitchen, systems and team culture.

For the right person, there will also be opportunities to grow and take on greater responsibility as the business develops.
