About the Role
We are seeking a caring and reliable Support Worker to provide personal care supports to an NDIS participant. This role is ideal for someone with robust communication skills, compassion, and a commitment to duty of care.
Role Details (Please Read)
Available Shift times: Friday afternoons (01:30 - 06:30 PM) Regular
Expectations: Punctuality and reliability are critical to avoid disruption of participant’s care routine.
Opportunity: More hours may be offered as the participant progresses and feels more familiar with staff. We are seeking a committed and reliable candidate.
Key Duties
Provide personal care supports: showering, toileting, continence care, meal preparation and medication administration.
Follow the NDIS Code of Conduct and participant’s shift plan.
Assist participant with transportation and community participation.
Support participant to achieve their personal goals.
Maintain accurate records: timesheets, shift notes, incident/risk reports.
Communicate honestly and transparently with the team and family.
Remain vigilant about in-home and outdoor risks.
Exhibit reliability, punctuality, and consistency at all times.
About You
You are a dependable, empathetic, and proactive support worker with:
Fluent communication.

Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
Commitment to participant safety, dignity, and wellbeing.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Casual
Pay: $36.23 – $42.74 per hour
