About the company
We’re an event furniture hire company servicing clients in Melbourne and Sydney. Working with our clients, we supply hire furniture for corporate or community events, marketing, meetings, movie nights etc. We work with event planners, agencies, corporate organisations, community groups, government as well as private events. Our team is small but we’ve been successfully supporting a large base of clients and their events for over 10 years.
About the role
We are looking for an events delivery driver/event crew member to assist us in the supply of hire furniture to our clients in Melbourne, Geelong and regional areas including Ballarat and Bendigo. Above award rates apply for most hours worked, which can vary according to the day and time of the deliveries.
Your job includes:
Delivering, setting up & removing event furniture
Loading & unloading trucks with equipment
Assisting the warehouse team to organise and maintain stock
Flexibility working hours, some weekends & public holidays (Weekly roster, will require AM/PM and weekend work)
Flexibility to work a number of different shifts across the week, allocated on a week-by-week basis.
What we're looking for:
A person who is punctual and reliable, with positive attitude who likes working part of a team
Be physically fit (heavy lifting and carrying is involved)
Previous experience in event or furniture removal roles, preferred but not essential
MUST have a current drivers licence and confident driving a small car licence truck
