We are seeking physically fit individuals to join our Prawn Season Unload Crew based in Karumba in the Gulf of Carpentaria, Queensland.
Travel to Karumba from Cairns will be provided, so too will accommodation and food whilst working in Karumba.
These are casual positions for a period of up to 4 weeks, with the unloading of vessels happening generally in the afternoon and evenings.
Your duties will include:
Manually unloading product from Prawn Trawlers
Repetitive lifting of loads (up to 25kg)
Working productively to strict timeframes
Obeying safety rules in warehouse settings
Successful candidates will possess the following:
Previous experience in manual labouring (desirable)
PPE (hi vis shirt)
A sense of urgency and valuable reliability
Can do attitude
