A full time general practitioner is required for an organisation that is well known for their clinics and healthcare services nationally and are now looking to expand their services at their super clinic in Karratha.

Karratha is the gateway to the marine-life rich Dampier Archipelago, the world's most prolific prehistoric rock engraving site, Kajini’s four billion year old adventure playground and Millstream's Chichester National Park. Karratha is 1500km from Perth and has a population of 21,200 (2021).

The organisation has operated in Karratha for decades and can provide training, relocation support and rental subsidies on top of high levels of private billing and competitive and versatile working arrangements.

The Role
Diagnosis and treatment of short term and chronic illness
Defense Force Recruiting (DFR) - conducting, reviewing and reporting
Occupational health assessment - rail medicals, coal bard, OGUK, AMSA, ED
Acute injury treatment and management
Travel medicine - yellow fever
Skin screening
Immunisations

The Requirements
Current unconditional and unrestricted registration with Ahpra




Fellowship with FRACGP or FACRRM (desirable but not essential)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Minimum 5 years' broad medical experience in a health system comparable to Australia
Current Working with Children Check (or state equivalent)
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAD009) Certification
National Police Clearance issues within the last 3 months
