We are currently looking for an experienced Tyre Fitter / Wheel Alignment Technician to join our growing team in Brisbane.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy workshop environment, takes pride in their workmanship, and works well as part of a team.

You will be responsible for tyre fitting, wheel balancing, wheel alignments, tyre repairs, and general tyre maintenance across a variety of heavy and light vehicles, including prime movers, rigid trucks, trailers, commercial vehicles, and passenger vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
Fit, remove and repair tyres on trucks, trailers, and commercial vehicles
Carry out wheel alignments to manufacturer and fleet specifications
Diagnose tyre wear patterns and provide recommendations to improve tyre life
Perform tyre rotations, puncture repairs, balancing,



and replacements
Inspect tyres for safety, tread depth, uneven wear, and damage
Maintain workshop cleanliness and follow all safety procedures
Complete job documentation accurately and report work completed
Work closely with mechanics and workshop team to ensure efficient workflow
Assist in maintaining fleet tyre inventory and stock management
Support continuous improvement of workshop processes and standards

Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone who has:
Previous experience as a Tyre Fitter or Wheel Alignment Technician
Experience working with truck and trailer tyres (highly preferred)
Strong understanding of tyre safety standards and best practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and improve

Bonus Points If You Have Experience With:
Hunter HawkEye Wheel Alignment Machine
Smart Balance Wheel Balancing Machine
Heavy vehicle workshop experience
Fleet maintenance setting experience
HR or HC truck licence (advantage but not essential)
