COMFLOOR has established a proud reputation as trusted providers of quality floor coverings to the commercial industry since 1978. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as Assistant Storeperson at our warehouse located at Eagle Farm.

COMFLOOR encourages a healthy work-life balance and guarantees that no weekend work is required. This role is Monday to Friday only and is available for immediate start.

Key responsibilities
Receipting, unpacking and checking purchased goods from suppliers
Labelling and packaging goods ready for dispatch
Quality checking goods against orders before dispatch
Assist with maintaining an organised space adhering to workplace health and safety practises
Assist with the management of inventory including stocktake
Load/unload, palletised and roll stock
Checking, receipting stock, and completing associated paperwork




Coordinating with freight companies and managing incoming deliveries
Pick and pack orders (some heavy lifting involved at times)
General warehouse duties including cleaning and maintenance

About you
Ability to follow systems and procedures
Valuable communication skills and be able to maintain valuable relationships with both internal staff and external contacts
Demonstrates initiative and works well within a team workplace as well as individually
Must be reliable and possess an excellent work ethic
Helpful, positive can-do attitude
Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse/storage
Experience using a walk behind forklift
Ability to follow and implement company policies and procedures
Sound computer skills and attention to detail
Willing to be flexible and able to work under pressure
