Role Description This is a part-time, in office Wash Up / Kitchen Hand role based at Bar Reggio in Sydney, NSW. The role involves washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring all items are cleaned, dried, and stored correctly to support smooth kitchen operations. Daily tasks include maintaining clean work areas, taking out rubbish, assisting with basic food preparation, and restocking cleaning and kitchen supplies.

The Wash

Up / Kitchen Hand works closely with chefs and other team members to keep the kitchen organized,



follow hygiene and safety procedures, and support productive service during busy periods. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak service times is required.

Qualifications
Ability to perform dishwashing, cleaning, and general kitchen support tasks efficiently and consistently.
Understanding of basic food safety, hygiene standards, and safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability, with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Good time management, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
Previous experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen is beneficial but not essential; training can be provided.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a busy, sometimes hot environment.
Availability to work part time hours, including evenings, weekends, sundays and public holidays are closed.
