About the role
As a Trade Assistant, you'll play an key role in keeping the workshop running smoothly. You'll assist carpenters with the preparation of materials, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work. You'll work alongside experienced fabricators and welders, gaining valuable exposure to a range of workshop activities.
Key responsibilities
Cutting and preparing pipe and flat bar to required specifications
Safely and efficiently operating a saw
Accurately measuring, cutting and preparing materials
Supporting fabricators with day-to-day workshop tasks
Maintaining a clean, organised and secure work setting
Following all workplace health and safety procedures
